UK humanoid buying guide
The market has crossed an important line: several modern humanoids now have genuine UK-facing prices and purchase routes. None is a robot carer yet. This page separates things you can buy from robots that are merely announced, piloted or available by enquiry.
What counts as “for sale”?
We include a robot in the main table when a UK-facing retailer publishes a GBP price and purchase route, or when a manufacturer provides a direct order route that is usable from the UK. Quote-only enterprise systems and future consumer announcements are kept separate.
Care reality check: every robot in the main table is currently a research, development or professional platform. A humanoid being purchasable does not mean it is safe or competent to care for an older person unsupervised.
Buyable now
Ordered by the lowest UK-facing price we found. Configuration, VAT, shipping and support terms vary, so check the seller before purchase.

Why the headline price misleads
Manufacturer prices are commonly shown before UK tax, international shipping and import handling. A UK retailer price may look substantially higher while already including VAT and providing a domestic support route.
For an early humanoid, support matters more than it does for ordinary consumer electronics. Before spending five figures, confirm the exact configuration, hands, development access, warranty, spares, repair route and who carries the risk if the robot arrives damaged.
Not in the main price table
These are important systems, but their present route to a UK household is different.
US deliveries are scheduled for 2026. Early access is US$20,000 or a later US$499 monthly subscription; expansion beyond the US is planned from 2027.
Potentially important for later-life support, but early autonomy is limited and difficult tasks may involve scheduled remote human supervision, with obvious privacy implications.European debut held in London in June 2026. AGIBOT announced a UK Robot-as-a-Service model and publishes overseas after-sales terms.
Battery claims, interaction features and a less industrial appearance make it relevant to future home support. Announced deployments are commercial.Official specifications and order consultation are available; price is not public.
A marker of how quickly capable research hardware is becoming orderable. It is currently a development platform.Figure reports producing more than 350 third-generation robots and increasing factory throughput, but does not offer a public consumer purchase route.
Among the most relevant platforms for future practical home help. Demonstrations and fleet production still do not establish consumer availability or care-grade reliability.XPENG expects mass production by the end of 2026, followed by an official launch and deliveries to external customers in China and overseas markets in 2027. No UK consumer sale or care deployment has been announced.
The overseas-delivery plan makes IRON more relevant to the future UK market, but announced deployments are retail and service rather than elder care. There is no published evidence of safe unsupervised care in a home. Before buying
How this page is maintained
The two detailed buyer guides pull their prices and seller routes from the same structured product data used elsewhere on Robot Carer UK. Additional UK listings are stored separately from the prose so stock or price changes can be updated without rewriting the page.
Current primary checks include Unitree's official product pages and UK-facing retailer listings. We do not treat an announcement, demo booking or sales-enquiry form as equivalent to a retail purchase route.
