The current finder ranks options in your browser and does not need a personal account. Future care robots may process far richer information, making consent, security and clear local controls central design requirements.
Finder answers
Your answers are used in the browser to rank directory entries. The site may count the predefined concern categories chosen in the finder as anonymous usage statistics, but it does not ask for or record a name, email address, free-text health history or a persistent profile.
Anonymous usage statistics
Robot Carer UK uses a first-party statistical system to understand which pages are used, whether the finder is completed, which directory entries attract interest, which prominent internal choices are selected and which page-to-page routes are useful. Analytics files do not store IP addresses, full user-agent strings or a persistent visitor identifier, and no third-party analytics cookie is used.
A random token is held in sessionStorage for the current browser session so the server can count page transitions and finder progress. The token is used only in short-lived server-side session state, normally removed after about six hours; it is not written into the retained event logs. Longer-lived journey information is stored as aggregate counts. Event and aggregate analytics are retained for up to 180 days.

Server logs
The hosting provider may separately keep standard technical logs such as IP address, requested page, browser information and time of access for security and operation. Those logs are outside Robot Carer UK's custom analytics dataset.

Directory entries link to supplier, retailer and source websites. Their privacy and cookie practices apply once you leave this site.
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the details you submit are sent by email to the site publisher. Contact-form text is not added to the analytics dataset. Please do not include medical records or other sensitive personal information.
